Website Monetization
Those who make the most money usually have the largest audience… Although there are several ways to monetize a web site, there is only one fundamental requirement to making your site generate revenue, and that’s TRAFFIC. No web site regardless of how great it may seem on the surface, or how excellently designed it is, can possibly be expected to make anyone any money if it doesn’t have any traffic coming in. It doesn’t matter where the traffic is coming from, but it must exist. Whether it is visited through search engines, directly typed in on the address bar, or visited through links from other sites, it does not make too much of a difference as long as people are visiting. Have you got a web site with traffic? If so, what you actually have is a business, and it is up to you to know the best way to convert that traffic into revenue.
How you choose to monetize your site can make all the difference in the amount of time and energy you’ll need to put in and how much money those efforts will ultimately turn into. A great site, monetized correctly does most the work for you, but on the other side of the coin, a site not monetized correctly will have you chasing your tail, putting in lots of hours of hard work, with little reward. Many beginners give up before they reach success becuase they used the wrong methods, not becuase their idea wasn’t viable. Any idea can be a great one, but the process of monetization must not be flawed.
