PALM BEACH, FL – Apparently, Presidential hopeful Joe Biden still doesn’t have a decent grasp on what exactly web site addresses are, how they work – or when to forgo them entirely while trying to give out SMS short codes for text messaging purposes.
Turns out ole “foot-in mouth” Joe did it again when he confused an entire nationwide audience by telling them, ‘If you agree with me, Go to Joe 30330’ which he appeared to barely get out properly, when he should have told viewers to dial a phone number via text.
What worries me most, being that Biden is a presidential candidate, is that – I’m just not that sure if this guys’ brain works all that well….. I mean, he had a decade to get this whole “interweb thing” figured out being that back in 2009 he asked a government aid, “do you know the web site number?” He also referred viewers to Recovery.com instead of telling them to visit Recovery.gov. Again, those two blunders were over ten years ago.
What I am sure domain name enthusiasts will find more amusing then Joe just sticking his foot in his mouth again, like usual, is someone immediately registered the domain name “Joe30330.com” and began redirecting it to a rival candidate named Pete Buttigieg, the current Mayor of South Bend, Indiana.
It was falsely reported by BusinessInsider.com that it was registered by the rival’s campaign team, as visiting “Joe30330.com” re-directed to PeteForAmerica.com, however, it now redirects to what appears to be a gag site called JoshForAmerica.com.
It appears it caused quite a bit of buzz (and laughs abound) when Joe made his latest tech-related blunder.
